The Local Government Association of Queensland and Queensland Treasury Corporation have partnered together to deliver Facing the Future, the 7th Local Government Finance and Strategic Leadership Summit. With the spotlight on governance, culture and trust across many industries and sectors in recent times, the importance of leadership and the pursuit of purposeful strategy is imperative in today’s business environment. The 2019 Summit promises to be informative and interactive with the opportunity for personal growth and to learn new skills, frameworks and approaches that can be applied at council.

Strategic Leadership Short Course

Day 1 features a full day Strategic Leadership Short Course, where participants will receive a certificate of completion from The University of Queensland’s Executive Education Business School. The course is designed specifically for local government leaders, drawing from an MBA-style structure and leadership topics.
