Local Government Capability Building
The QTC Education Program and the Department of State Development, Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning (DSDILGP) have codeveloped a sponsored training program with a specific purpose to build capability across the local government sector.
The training initiative includes a newly developed workshop for elected members, and six workshop topics aimed at upskilling council staff.
“QTC’s workshops are developed with a public sector audience in mind, which allows me to easily apply the content to my role in Queensland Health. By applying the knowledge gained from the workshops I am able to deliver quality outcomes in manageable timeframes and budgets.”
Jonathan Browne, Principal Revenue Officer Policy and Training, Metro North Hospital and Health Service
