Who is this course suited to?
This course is designed for Queensland’s Elected Members responsible for overseeing Asset Management within local government framework, providing them with the knowledge and skills to understand asset management concepts, apply sustainable service delivery principles, and effectively manage infrastructure to align with and support local government strategies.
What are the course credentials?
Participants will receive a digital badge upon successful completion of the course which can be shared across various online platforms so you can showcase your demonstrated skills and achievements.
What does my course schedule look like?
This course is self-paced and delivered online with the opportunity for participants to attend live virtual Q&A sessions with subject matter experts. These live sessions will be recorded and available as webinars for those who are unable to attend.
You will be guided throughout the program by a personal learning mentor who will help you with activities.

Commitment to all sessions within this course is essential for an optimised learning experience.
Modules: Each of the four modules requires you to work through the online materials each week, comprising assessment activities and reading excerpts from the International Standards and IIMM publications. On average, each module will take approximately 2-3 hours to complete the mandatory learning activities.
Assessments: After each of the four Modules, you will be asked to complete a short assessment task designed to consolidate your learning.
